We just realized we didn’t talk yet about the Swatch and KidRobot collaboration, and yet we are fans of what both brands have been doing for the last couple of years. And to celebrate the work done by the cute Art Toys and the Stylish watches, A video was edited in the stop motion technique, mixing arts & crafts, products, a lot of colors and a cool music. We already talked to you about Nooka. The watch brand was already featured on whitezine for the undrcrwn, the Zem & the Zirc Campaign. Today Nooka goes up a level, and the wrist watch is now hanged over the wall. While we were seeing Nooka tired and having a hard time to renew itself, this comes and changes everything. The Geneva watch brand revealed its new watch called La Cle du temps. French for The key of time, the story of this bracelet actually started long time ago, designed for the Confrerie Horlogere. Bought b y Hublot, they decided to released the watch with the futuristic look and color. And with a name like that, the watch had to do something special, and yes it does. La Cle du temps gives you the ability to make time go faster or slower. An amazing piece of jewellery.

Nooka Zub Zirc Campaign

Nooka‘s newest advertising campaign was just released. The design watch brand gave that mission to Paul Isabella a graphic designer from Portland, who created 6 prints for the Nooka Zub Zirc. Full of colors and of well known nooka-shapes, the images present the watches on a uni-color background.

A 46mm case, with 23 jewels and a self-winding movement mecanic. Coming to its design we have a choice between a brown or a black circle but alway with elegance. The watch is edited in a limited edition for just 1969 pieces.

Zero Wrist Watch

Zero Wrist watch is a pretty cool project by a german designer named Robert Dabi. He went back to the famous design rule: Simple and Stupid, and decided to design a watch as pur as could be. No numbers, no buttons, and just two circles. The inner one for hours, and the outer for minutes. Probably not very very precis, but at least you won’t run out of style. More on Soulja.de

Last week Whitezine’s team was invited by Seiko to check out the 4 new collections, Premier, Ananta, Velatura and Sportura. While Sportura and Velatura are made for … Sports (Velatura made especially for Wind navigation) and Premier maybe a little too classy for Whitezine, Ananta is the collection we really loved. A design not too classy, not too flashy, just wat it takes to stay trendy. Inspired by the Japanese history of Seiko, and exactly inspired by the Katana Art.

Ananta - Seiko

Ananta means “Infinity”, and the collection inspired by the Katana art, is also a way of honoring the sacred way of making sabres. Seiko made a great collection here, giving us also a way to remember that Japan is as good as Switzerland for watch making.
