Andy Smith is an illustrator and typographer from Hastings in England. There is a show this summer at Soma Gallery in Bristol where we can see his works especially made for this show. It looks like mostly handed painted and with a naive style, but funny and colorful. Here is his works and more and his portfolio.

« Cheers ! here’s to you dad » is a series of funny poster, created by Moxy Creative House and EveryGuyed, in honor of Father’s Days.
We see there nicely illustrated in the shape of cans, the fathers of famous cartoon families. As for example, Homer Simpson, Peter Griffin from family guys, Fred Flintstone, Papa Smurf, Popeye, George Jetson, Mr. Incredible and Mufasa of The Lion King.

Patrik Svensson is an illustrator and graphic designer with a huge passion for music and movies. He in fact, made a serie of movie posters based on typographic work with a minimalist style. From Basic Instinct to Karate Kid passing by Seven, Big Fish and Jaws, he did it all, and it’s pretty awesome.

Steve Wilson is an illustrator based in Brighton, United Kingdom. Circus posters, fairgrounds, Victorian postcards and tribal art are among the issues he cites as a reference for his work. His work falls somewhere between pop and psychedelia, lots of neon colors, bright colors. His work process is electric, it attracts the eye and it is difficult to get away of it. He uses simple tools, pen, pencil, paint, collage which are combined with modern tools like Photoshop and Illustrator.
