Sean Dufrene is a photographer based in Los Angeles. Both photojournalism and fashion shoots, Sean Dufrene had many experience in his career. Now this series, called Jack, that we present to you today is a caricature of scenes that he lived in this house in his childhood. The old man in the photos is his father. Rune Guneriussen is a Norwegian artist, halfway between installation and photography. Actually, he displays outside some daily life objects in order to create a real story. With a method which only he knows the secret, he succeeds to insert in a natural manner those lifeless objects in the landscape, so much so that we could believe they are alive. If it’s better to take the height to admire New-York, the magnifying glass will be better this time to study the miniature of the artist Alan Wolfson. In a meticulously pushed to the limit, this creation issued from a 18 months work is the exact reality of an american crossroads, from the roof to the subway rails. Title Canal St. Cross-Station, the angle between Brooklyn and New Jersey is a perfect little terrarium of the big apple.

Many people in the occidental country love asian food without having the ability to use chopsticks. And since we consider that eating chinese or japanese food with a fork is a shame, we loved the idea of this amateur chopsticks wheel. Designed by Sang-Gyeun Ahn, it’s constantly helpful. Used as a towel holder for the table dressing it becomes a handler for those of us who don’t know how to manipulate chopsticks. Brilliant idea.

Wolkswagen Race Touareg 3 Qatar

This concept of the Wolkswagen Touareg Race 3 Qatar is based on the Touareg Race 3 version which participated in the last Dakar Rally. This model was made with the only aim of being able to drive outside runways, its engine of 228 kW/310 hp enables it to go from 0 at 100km/h in 6 seconds. It is equipped with 18 inches BBS rims wheels. The pearly white of the body, slightly on gilded baptized “Magic Morning” gives it a more excentric and classy effect at the same time then any color. The cockpit remains sober with it instrument panel and it central console carbon and aluminum, a saddlery of leather black Nappa Titan and an arch of safety which remains present to keep the Rally spirit.

The Load watch is a concept born in the mind of two french designers. Cédric Tanguy ( Conception & Design) and Christophe Pilate (Conception and Art Direction), thought about a watch that would tell the time using a loading bar shapes. The name Load was then so obvious. Besides it’s pure design, Load has the ambition of sending informations about your interests to a social network that will let you personnalize an online space depending on these. Billboard Bench is a new design concept created by a serbian designer called Relja Perunovic. His aim was to invade the traditionnal city benchs by giving them a new interactive aspect. He though about the time when these are actually not being sat on and he made them turn to become a vertical space available to be rent as a marketing billboard or an information screen. It’s not really about Marketing and advertising but mostly about interactivity and society. Imagine these as a space for the user, not for the brand. And of course, this is just when they’re vacant, meanwhile, this is still a bench. More info about Relja Perunovic on his own website.
