Volkswagen L1 Concept

Volkswagen introduce the VW L1. A concept car developed with the simple idea of being a lite car. Making 100 kilometers in only one litre of fuel. The L1 is a two cylinders, and combine both turbo-diesel engine (39hp) and electric motor (14hp). It reach 160 Km/hour (100 mph) and all the car is weighted 380 kilogrammes (838 pounds). The future is nearest then you think, because the L1 might be sold on the market starting 2013.
