You’re a designer ? an illustrator ? Sometimes you find yourself standing here with a laptop you can’t use because your graphic tablet is so heavy you didn’t carry it with you. Here’s the solution ! A Laptop with a tablet inside it. You just have to flip the keyboard to use it. It’s really well done, but will probably cost a lot if it’s ever made. Yes, because for now it’s just a concept designed by Victor Bivol

Why not just make it a touchscreen or put the touchpad on the bottom of the laptop and give it one of those swivel hinges?

As a designer and illustrator, I know that your design wouldn’t be terribly effective. When using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator, you still need access to the keyboard in order to use keyboard shortcuts.
A laptop Wacom Cintq screen would be far more effective, and if it has a swivel screen you could fold it up to hide the keyboard if you were not planning on using it.

nice idea, but not very practical, touchscreen technology is the future, and while I would prefer “textured” screens to that of smooth glass, witting on a screen still removes the abstraction from witting on a tablet then translating it to the monitor. Also as Jon said, not having access to keyboard shortcuts would be extreamly annoying. Personally I still prefer a mouse to a tablet, but then again I don’t draw on computers with my hand, I use math.

I’d be a bigger fan of having a table built-in the way a cd drive used to be. So that it slid out when you pushed a button and then could access and use it while still attached to the laptop.
