Toyota is going into design with this amazing concept car entitled Me.We. Light, affordable and all green, the Toyota Me.We has the characteristic of proposing a new revolutionary design where traditionnal codes of driving are reviewed from scratch. The whole thing was designed along with Jean-Marie Massaud. The well known designer & architect just added a new cool project to his portfolio, after having Sephora, Renault, Cassina & Lancôme on his list.

We loved it when it came out, but didn’t take the time to buy it or even speak about it. So when we were asked if we’d like to test it, we couldn’t say no, and thank god we didn’t. Our statement is very simple, we didn’t like it, we loved it. Lowdi, is clearly the perfect thing to take around. It is a beautiful & powerful mini speaker you can connect to your iPhone by bluetooth and enjoy your good music. The same length as a pencil, it’s impressively powerful without leaving sound quality aside. Ultra portable, it takes with it 8 hours of battery listening to music. With the iPhone 5, the many Android devices, and lately, the Windows Phone 8 releases, Blackberry have probably its last shot to go back in the game. RIM announced yesterday the release of Blackberry 10 a whole new operating system, that takes the best out of the old Blackberrys to put them in a 2013 era where wide & touch screens proved they were the future. We can’t tell you more about its actual use, but we have to admit it that for a first time in years, blackberry is back with a beautiful, neat & clear design. We are not big fans of what Beats has been releasing in the last couple of years, and we have to say it, it was better when Dr.Dre did music and not headsets. We’ve already showed it many times on Whitezine. We are quite fans of what Microsoft have been doing these last months with Windows, and especially the Windows Phone 8 serie (including the Nokia Lumia). Today, we’re only a couple of days of the official release of Windows 8. The new OS, that will be working on both tablets & PC is completely revolutionary. We are quite impressed by the big risk Micrsoft is taking here, but at the same time quite confident about the final reception. They’re re-inventing PCs and there’s doing it really well. Alexandros Stasinopoulos is a designer who submitted work to Kanavos, a smartphone study concept. He explores the visual interaction between hardware and software (working on Windows Phone 8). With vertical and horizontal stripes contrasting with strong colors, the OS and the interface blend and complete each other. Alexandros uppered the main button “Home” (usually at front-lower-centre) on the left and right sides of the device for easy access to this function while holding the camera. Nokia is back in Business. After their release of the Lumia 800 a couple of months back, the finnish brand is here with the Lumia 920 announced a couple of days ago.
